In every injury, the body's healing mechanism is activated to restore the tissue, structurally and functionally, to its original state. In some cases, This healing mechanism is disrupted, resulting in either hyperplasia of the skin at the site of injury or incomplete healing. In either case, an aesthetic problem is created.
Symptoms
Atrophic scars form a slight depression locally in the skin due to damage to collagen, fat or other tissues under the skin and are caused by acne, chickenpox, surgery and injuries.
Keloids and hypertrophic scars cause swelling in the skin and are created when the body produces an excess amount of collagen during the wound healing process. Hypertrophic scars are usually thick, appear a short time after the injury, and typically improve over time. Keloids are scars that have expanded beyond the boundaries of the original incision and are larger in size than hypertrophic ones. Their most frequent areas of appearance are the back, chest, and neck, as well as the chin and earlobes. They are raised, red, and very often cause itching and pain. Finally, keloids do not recede and do not become milder over time.
Treatment
At LP CLINIC, following a full clinical examination and a brief medical history, the dermatologist will discuss the appropriate treatment for you. The treatment of scars and keloids is a long-term and demanding process. Regular repetition of sessions is often required to achieve the desired result. The treatment is primarily carried out using injectable therapies (steroids) and cryotherapy. Furthermore, after treatment, the application of specialized regenerative creams is mandatory in all cases, as well as sunscreen to prevent the formation of discolorations.

Μιλάμε για έναν εξαιρετικό γιατρό, που θα σε καθοδηγήσει και καθησυχάσει σε κάθε βήμα της μεταμόσχευσης μαλλιών. Θα σου λύσει κάθε απορία όσο "χαζή" και να είναι. Θα σου πει ακριβώς πως θα νιώθεις κάθε μέρα μετά την επέμβαση και πως θα αντιμετωπίσεις την όποια φαγούρα ή ενόχληση νιώσεις. Πέρα από εξαιρετικός γιατρός, είναι και φοβερός άνθρωπος.
